Dr. Shruti Bhattacharya

Dr. Shruti Bhattacharya is a highly accomplished retina and cataract surgery specialist with over 6 years of experience. She trained at Maulana Azad Medical College (MBBS) and Guru Nanak Eye Centre (MS), and holds a DNB, MNAMS, FICO (UK) and a ChM in Ophthalmology from the University of Edinburgh.

Her international training informs an evidence-led approach to retinal disease and ocular trauma. She manages retinal detachments, macular disease and complex cataract cases, and has a particular interest in trauma reconstruction.

Dr. Bhattacharya also has a strong interest in glaucoma screening, and routinely combines optic-nerve imaging with visual-field testing to catch pressure-related damage before it affects vision.
