Dr. Sameer Kaushal is a highly experienced and distinguished ophthalmologist, currently serving as the Senior Consultant and Head of Ophthalmology at Artemis Health Institute, Gurgaon. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Kaushal is a pioneer in Corneal and Anterior Segment Surgery, specializing in Cataract, LASIK, and Corneal Transplantation.

Dr. Kaushal’s medical journey began in 1995 when he joined the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, as an undergraduate. He completed his MBBS and went on to specialize in Ophthalmology. Dr. Kaushal further honed his expertise with a 3-year fellowship in Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery at AIIMS, where he gained in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in treating complex eye conditions, particularly corneal and ocular surface disorders.

His early training at AIIMS enabled him to master a wide range of advanced eye surgeries, especially in the anterior segment, such as Phacoemulsification for Cataract, LASIK, and Corneal Transplantation. His expertise also extends to the latest, minimally invasive procedures, including sutureless corneal transplants, lamellar techniques, and stem cell transplants—all aimed at providing his patients the most effective and cutting-edge treatments.
